In 1967, a housewife, Margaret White from the suburbs of Philadelphia met Swami Sivananda Radha for the first time, and something awakened within her. Over the next several years, the two communicated through letters, and in 1978, White visited Swami Radha at the Yasodhara Ashram in British Columbia. This was the first major step on her path towards renunciation. At the ashram, White began to piece together the clues in a lifelong mystery, her calling toward the Divine. Her teacher, Swami Radha, guided her alongsometimes in the most unexpected ways. Swami Durganandas transformative journey takes her from Philadelphia to the Yasodhara Ashram, deep in the mountains of British Columbia. In this spiritually rich land, she finds herself drawn closer to her guru and inspired to discover her lifes calling.
