5.0 out of 5 stars A Valued Addition to a VA's Library, July 5, 2008
This book is an awesome compilation of tips and techniques, processes and procedures to get the word out about your virtual assistant business. It is packed with helpful and extremely practical (and affordable) methods of marketing your practice. At the same time this guide is very educational and enlightening tool for those who do not have a marketing background. The authors take you by the hand and "virtually" walk you through the marketing process.

The tips in this book can also be used to market any business in any industry. The book is written in a workbook format with plenty of space for you to take notes and to answer questions as you fine-tune your thinking about who you are and what your business is offering so you can best decide how to communicate that and capture the clients ideally suited for you.

All this is done in easy to understand language with plenty of examples.

This is a book I'll return to again and again, even after my practice is thriving! Great for newbies and established practioners alike.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive, detailed, written with a student in mind, November 15, 2007
I just initiated a Virtual Office Professional program at my college this fall and was reviewing a myriad of marketing books to use for the Marketing a Virtual Office class. I discovered the first edition of Michelle's book and was very impressed by the content and delivery. When I found out she had the second edition that covered even more current trends and best practices and was available for my Spring 08 class, I was ecstatic--she doesn't miss a beat in this one! She is thorough, practical, basic, and organized in her approach. I have recommended this 2nd Edition to many of my colleagues. You can see why she is an expert in this field. The least I can say is, "Thank you, Michelle, for giving promising VOPs/VAs an opportunity to learn from the best!"

5.0 out of 5 stars Virtual Assistant students rate her and her book: The Best, November 16, 2007
As one of the core textbooks in the Virtual Assistant Certificate, we have been using the Virtual Assistant's Guide to Marketing for the past four years. The Red Deer College VA students are not only impressed with the quality of this book but with Michelle's abilities as an online college instructor. We have come to rely on Michelle's expertise in the marketing area. With the information in this book, you will quickly attract the ideal clients to your VA business.
