Product Description

In this day and age (of fast food, drive through, pre-cooked and frozen) nothing beats the aromas and flavors of a well blended casserole, bubbling away in the ovenâ€"or a specialty pie or baked bread cooling on the kitchen counter. The “kitchen-klassic” recipes of authors Wendy Louise and MaryAnn Koopmann invite readers into the world of oven cooking.

Covering everything from their homemade staples of everyday fare to company-coming-for-dinner recipes, Wendy Louise and MaryAnn take you through recipe after recipe with clear instructions, old fashioned wit and wisdom, and just good-old, down-home, home-spun advice. Everything from snacks and appetizers to scrumptious desserts is covered in detail. There is even a chapter on the authors’ “Top Twenty” Casseroles, and a specialty section “Outside the Oven” filled with delicious details to add to your meal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Home Cooked Meals! Excellent !, February 14, 2006
By Cindy Newman (New York, NY USA) - See all my reviews
Awesome! Home made cooked meals that are so good and my family enjoy eating. I really find this to be one of my best cookbooks that I am proud to spread the word to other homemakers which love to cook as much as I do. I love the Cook's Conversation after each recipe. Wendy Louise and MaryAnn Koopmann are two cooks that really can cook up a storm for every occasion. You need to get this cookbook and get one for your friend or anyone else that loves to cook. Hat's off to Wendy Louise and MaryAnn Koopmann!
