About the Author

Author Christopher B. Wolf is himself the beneficiary of many second chances and do-overs in his faith. He grew up Catholic in New Jersey and went on to become an ordained pastor in the Reformed Church in America. Prior to the ministry he worked in public relations. Currently he serves as pastor of First Reformed Church in Grandville, Michigan.

If you have been in the church pews for years or have not been inside a church for years this book is for you!!! Christopher does a great job of taking an honest look at life and the struggles many of us share with the organized church. His stories connected with me deeply and I identified with many of the people he wrote about even when those were the "bad examples" or people who were not sharing the love of God). I would recommend it for reading both on your own, but would be great to read with others and to talk about your own experiences. Great read!!!
