A Kid's Review
This book was great. It was a little slow in the start, and all the action happened at the end, but it was still I work of art.Three girls. All different, bound together by the stregth of magic. Emily, a healer, has just moved from Colodrado to Stonehill, Pennsylvania, and she and her mom run a vet clinic. A natural lover of animals, Emily has no friends yet and sometimes feels left out with no one with her. But Adriane and Kara are sweet people, and are helping her through the difficult process of adapting to this strange school and place. Adriane Chardaye is a Native American girl with flying black hair, black blothes, and a style of her own. She lives with her grandmother on Ravenswood Preserve and has the gift of a warrior. Strong, bold, independent and determined is the young warrior and a mistwolf, Stormbringer, to whom she is bonded with. Kara Davies is popular, snobby, and self centered. As a blazing star she stregthens and cures the magic around her. Kara is snobby at times but can be a good friend- she is torn between Adriana and Emily and her popular friends. Spinning a majestic web of magic, these three girls struggle to save a flood of wounded creatures coming from another magical world, Aldenmoor, and they must face evil and darkness and be strong. In this book Emily bonds with a unicorn, and struggles to understand and gain the trust of the mythical creature. Together, they will defeat evilness and bring goodness- all to the mysterious world of Avalon. Read and share about there triumphs and faliures, victories and downfalls, and together weave a web of friendship and magic- into the world of Avalon.
