4.0 out of 5 stars Solid guide to product lighting, April 17, 2000
By A Customer
This is a very well-illustrated guide to product photography in the tradition of Pro-Lighting series. It provides numerous clear and concise examples of how to light a variety of products from huge to tiny sized. It is not meant for a beginner, but for someone who is already familiar with how to use a variety of studio lighting instruments.

This book does not really explain how to apply different lighting techniques, but offers many suggestions for starting points with different setups. It is a good start for stimulating creativity with product lighting.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, practical guide to profession fashion photography, October 19, 1999
By A Customer
Among all the books I have seen on photography, this book takes a cake for being the best for professional photographers as well as serious students of fashion photography. The book offers creative range of all sections of personal fashions for all those who want to establish themselves professionally in fashion field. The book teaches technics behind some of the best fashion shots, capturing the spirit behind such photographs through the lense. Things that make the fashion photographer unique, the combination of beauty and brains. The book takes you through scene setting and lighting with easy to follow graphics, that allows reader to understand the sensitivity required to capture in one shot what the photographer want others to see. The format and the paper quality bring out the best of all the shots to make this book a collectors item for serious photographers and avid book lovers alike.
