Product Description
Almost 93,000 Canadians served in the forgotten theater that they derisively labeled "the Spaghetti League" during the 18-month sojourn in the Mediterranean which began on Sicily's southern beaches on July 10, 1943. More than a quarter of them became casualties, and 5000 died. These D-Day Dodgers accomplished all that was asked of them and they wrote an honorable page in Canada's military history.
