The theoretical treatment throughout this book is fully developed by means of the usual three-dimensional vector calculus. This book can be recommended as a graduate-level textbook or a reference book in the fields of advanced electromagnetic theory, relativistic electrodynamics, beam physics and plasma sciences.
About the Author
Toshiyuki Shiozawa is Professor of Communication Engineering at Osaka University. He graduated from Osaka University in 1964, and received his Ph. D. in Communication Engineering from Osaka University in 1969. His fields of interest include electromagnetic theory, engineering-oriented relativistic electrodynamics, free-electron lasers, and bioelectromagnetics. He is an IEEE Fellow.
