5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST for every F1 fan, August 14, 2000
By David Coultard (London, UK) - See all my reviews
Lehbrink's book is a fascinating insight into the world's most glamorous sport. Exposing the very heart of McLaren, the subject is dealt with in-depth, but never too technical for the average F1 fan to understand.

The book describes how McLaren supremo, Ron Dennis, likes to handle his boys, (you have to "stroke" Mika to get the best out of him, and "beat it out" of Coultard, it turns out), and informs us how he will stop at nothing to win both the Drivers and Constructors championships.

With beautiful photography, and fascinating information, I recommend this book to every wanna-be boy racer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great coffee table book. Excellent pictures!, May 1, 2000

This is one of the most interesting books I have read about a car. There are pictures on nearly every single page and it covers in great detail the people behind building the McLaren F1, the design, and also motorsport history of the car. Most of the pictures you'll find in this book cannot be found anywhere else. If you're a fan of this supercar, this book is a MUST HAVE! Even if you're just a regular car fan, this book has some of the nicest pictures in any car book. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have, August 9, 2002
By A Customer
This book is very high quality, and is a must for any F1 fan. There are many pictures not available anywhere else, and all the pictures in the book are of a high standard, comparable to those found in an autocourse. The text is informative and gives a brief insight into the events of each season for the Mclaren team, although doesn't get too indepth for the casual observer. Well worth getting for anyone with an interest in motorsport.
