Over 500,000 people, the best bands in the world (van halen, judas Preist and more), and Triumph blows everyone away. Many are familiar with Triumph's music (magic power, fight the good fight, lay it on the line). They were (still around minus Rik Emmett now) a power trio from Canada, that although they had some hits, they are mostly appreciated by there hard core fans.

Their performance at the US Festival was absolutely amazing. Rik Emmett, if you have never heard him or seen him, especially live, is one of the greatest rock guitar players you will ever hear. His voice is also top notch. They play a 50 minute set outdoors towards the end of daylight on the "heavy metal" day at the US festival in 1983. Gil moore on drums Is real solid, and his lead vocal on "when the lights go down" is awesome. The highlight songs here are "lay it on the line", "when the lights go down", and "rock n' roll machine", although I loved them all.
