4.0 out of 5 stars Magical, refreshing view of love in the dark ages, August 15, 2002
By A Customer
This movie sets on fire the critics. A lot of them say this movie doesn't worth even the rental. Others think it presents a refreshing look of an overexploited theme: love in the dark ages.

Bradamante (Barbara de Rossi) is a shy christian girl who gets to know her fiery side by means of an enchanted armour. Angelica (Tanya Roberts) is - very atractive - moor princess, who gets lost, almost raped several times, but always manages to escape. Orlando (Rick Edwards) and Ruggero (Ronn Moss) are enemies, leaders of opposite armies, and they fall in love of girls of the opposite side.

It has great choreographed duels, and strange but fairy-taled customes. The musical score is very poor (electronic, much in use those days), and in some times the action turns to be kind of funny, but is a great movie to see and share.

5.0 out of 5 stars Romatic at Heart, February 17, 2004
I couldn't believe it when I watch this movie still, I still love it. When the Prince of the Moore's and a Prince of the Christians and five of each of their fellow knights go for battle. Has some of the best fighting scenes, the best romance scenes. You got to see this movie. If you like a lot of fighting, handsome men and beautiul women, romance, this is your movie. You have to give it a try.

5.0 out of 5 stars Magic, Fantasy, and Love in the Dark Ages, October 6, 2002
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I decided to write this after reading the other two reviews. I've watched this movie ever since I was a kid, and I've always loved it. The movie is filled with a sense of magic in almost a fantasy world of reality in the Dark Ages. The movie is about love and how even though people may share different beliefs, there is always a soul mate out there waiting for them. If you love movies about knights, fantasy, magic, or love, than you'll love this movie. The point of the movie is that it has an enriched story of love and what some people will go through to keep or save that love.
