I love this movie! It's got nice direction, acting and totally great music! This movie has it all!! Even though this is a low-budget movie, all of the above comments raise this well above a b-movie in my opinion. It may have only decent special effects, but the rest of the movie makes up for that! Check out the song the band plays in the beginning of the movie and later on in the great film when they play a song called Soldiers Of The Night! I have seen this movie almost 200 times(Not kidding!) and highly reccommend it to hardcore headbangers and horror buffs alike. If you are both, like I am, you'll be in heaven!

Black Roses is the BEST 80's movie out there. I know it's not big bugget like Nightmare On Elm St etc, But the music make's up for that. And the effect's are not that bad, don't forget it's from the 80's. And if there's ever a remake, hopefuly by George A. Romero, and of course, with the use of the same music, don't forgot, it will have came from this little masterpeace, so all you people that say it suck's can kiss my A**, your the type that would watch the movie JACKASS and say it's supurb.

in some ways, this is more awful than rock n roll nightmare... maybe. buy this cheap. its a fantastic laugh riot. the music will stick in your head as the worst ever to grace your tv. a true vision of cheese.
