This video takes a look back at the roots of Western Swing music, an American music phenomenon that rolled out of the heartland of Texas and Oklahoma. This music gained popularity in the 1930's through the music of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys & that music is still alive and well 60 years later. More documentary and not much live music. 57 minutes in length and released in 1994.
