Hey Ren!, March 4, 2003
By 1994, Ren & Stimpy were the most popular cartoon characters on Nickelodeon, and the humor was still just as wild as you could ever expect from the cat with no tail, and the egotistical dog, Ren. Nevertheless, the cartoon still remain as the most zany toons ever made for older kids of course. But sometimes, there are only two shows rather than one on a collection. This one is the only one that has had that effect. The sequel to Ren & Stimpy's classics, Classics II, contains two double-length animated cartoons. The first one Swen Hoek, is one where Ren & Stimpy encounter a visit from Ren's cousin Swen. Ironically, he might be a relative of Ren, but he acts more like Stimpy, which outrages REn to the fullest level of anger. It just comes to be so bad, that Ren destroys a toy that the two enjoy, and sends all three of them down below. All because ren excreted on the electric fence, one of the zany animated, fictional products that were introduced on Ren & Stimpy. The second cartoon, Stimpy's Fan Club, deals with what animated characters are like when they recieve mail. Ren unfortunately, doesn't get any mail, because all the mail always goes to the stupid players, Stimpy of course. Stimpy invites Ren to become his president of his fan club, where he answers all of the fan mail, and answers some everyday encounters people always face. Unfortunately, the crazyness Ren has with being too nice gets back on him. At the of the cartoon, he finally gets a piece of fan mail fron his only fan, Stimpy. It is just so awful that Nickelodeon stopped broadcasting Ren & Stimpy awhile ago. Yet, they really broke the level for zany adult humor that we see in cartoons like The Simpsons, King Of The Hill, and The Oblongs. Anyway, if you've never seen Ren & Stimpy before, I suggest you get this video, you eediot!!
