Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

Came the Dawn - A Jealous lover has strict "hands off" policy - touch her man, she chops your hands off...and your arms off and your legs off, etc. Needless to say, her duplicitous mate rarely has a second date. Brooke Shields and Perry King star as two points of a lovers' triangle with cut-throat edges.
Mournin' Mess - Living on the streets just isn't the same "home sweet home" it used to be. Not when there's a cannibal in the neighborhood - who can't keep his mouth out of the gutter. Unscrupulous reporter Sweeney (Steve Weber) is hungry for the scoop on the homeless killer. But will his attempt to make headlines land him on the front page or in the obituaries. Till Death Do We Part - Sweet-faced Lucy (Kate Vernon) plays a dangerous game when she gets involved with low-caliber gangster Johnny Kenaparo (John Stamos). Especially since big mama Ruth (Eileen Brennan) doesn't like anyone playing with her boy-toy Johnny but her! An arrow to the heart leads to a bullet to the head in this tale of organized crime run amok.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brooke and Perry are great! Came The Dawn Is A Must See!, June 1, 2000
By Brian Blankenship (Virginia, USA) - See all my reviews
Came The Dawn is perfectly directed and written plus great acting from Brooke Shields and Perry King, this is one of the best Tales From The Crypt episodes ever due to the unexpected and surprise ending, a must see! Mournin Mess is only average but worth a watch. Watch the last story also for a surprise ending. A must own buy today!

5.0 out of 5 stars MY FAVORITE EPISODE IS THE 1ST, November 28, 1997
By A Customer
THIS TAPE, WITHOUT A DOUBT, GETS A TEN DUE TO THE FIRST EPISODE, CAME THE DAWN, WITH BROOKE SHIELDS, AND PERRY KING. IT IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE EPISODE. IT HAS A BRILLIANT STORY, AND A TWISTED, UNEXPECTED, GENIUS ENDING. THE OTHER TWO EPISODES ARENT THAT GOOD, BUT YOU MUST SEE CAME THE DAWN. YOU WOULDENT BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!! END
