3.0 out of 5 stars 5 stars for the architect minus 2 stars for book, November 1, 1999
By A Customer
Mendes da Rocha is the most under-rated Architect of the 20th Century. Hopefully in the 21st Century comes a book worthly of his genius. This book comes with good photos but not enough analysis. In turn the book conveys little to the reader of Mendes da Rocha's depth of sympathy to the human condition which accompanies his great skill.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great architect, Great book., March 14, 2009
Paulo Mendes da Rocha is one the most interesting and expressive architect in practice in Brazil. This book published in Barcelona in 1996 contents two different analysis as introductory texts by Josep M. Montaner and Maria I. Villac, 15 works and projects from 1957 to 1997, a Biography, a Chronology of works and projects, and a Bibliography. All in 96 pages packed of valuable information.
