I own the Lock-On F-104 Starfighter. This book is excellent for a modeler who want to make more details in his model. The book gave every detail you can think of and is loaded with a lot of pictures never seen before.I can recommend it for the purpose mention above to every one.

As is the case with all Verlinden Lock-on publications, this title delivers loads of info in a small package. The numerous detail shots and use of color throughout really benefits scale modelers and aviation enthusiasts alike. Recommended to anyone interested in the Cobra.

I was quite pleased with this book because I am planning on creating a 3d model of the F-104 and the last 3 pages of the book have 3-view foldouts with cross sectional views of the F-104. This will be of great assistance with construction of the 3d model. The book has tons of pictures including quite a few very close-up's. If you are a fan of the F-104 you will be pleased. If you are looking to make a 3d model or a want a book to assist with construction of a plastic model then this book is a 5 star value. It even includes a list of plastic models and reviews each of the different models from the different model makers.
