Book is short, 36 pages. Verlinden "Warmachine" series is mostly for modelers. Lots of crisp color photos. There are line drawings, interior photos. The captions for the photos are very good as well. Very bried history of the tank which is fine for the intended audience.

This is a book on the M60A3 version only. The army created the M60 back in 1960 and developed it over the years, so if you want anything on the older versions, this isnt the book for you.

Having spent many years as a M-60 tanker, I enjoyed this book and the photos of the vehicle in the field. I recommend it to add to a modelers or serious armor enthusiast collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars good pictures showing M60A3 in detail, October 14, 2006
this is a good source for information about detailing a M60A3.It has many close-up pictures in color showing different parts of the tank inside and out;The only disappointment is the lack of diagram or pictures showing different camouflage pattern in the army and marine which would be of great heip to modellers alike.
