About the Author
As a child, Rita Neri was always fascinated with ritual and propriety. A product of a diplomat's home. Her late father, Ambassador Felino Neri, was a much admired career diplomat. As a young adult pursuing her degree, this fascination turned into a passion as, nose into books, she became an avid student of history and culture. It was then that she developed an even keener appreciation for rituals and their role in flagging milestone in human civilization. These two factors-an appreciation for the value of rital and a commitment to detail-are what make Rita an indispensable resource for weddings. Rita Neri is President and co-owner of THE WEDDING STORE which opened in May 1994. She is a graduate of the private-all girl school the Assumption College with degrees in Bachelor of Arts (AB) and Bachelor of Education (BSE). She writes a column on Wedding Etiquette for Asian Bride magazine and conducts Wedding Symposium annually to assist brides as they prepare for their wedding day.
