5.0 out of 5 stars Customer Review, December 9, 2003
By A Customer
This cookbook is unlike any that I have seen. It's my favorite by far! Simple grammar and extensive photographs PER recipe make easy reading. The colour photographs guide me step by step so that it is almost impossible to make a mistake through wrong interpretation. It is as though I am being held by the hand! The photography is so extensive that there is even a photographic index. I can tell at a glance what each dish looks like without turning many pages. Don't get me wrong! The recipes are not just basic ones. They are of different complexity but rendered easy to make and fun.
I find the earlier chapters equally helpful. They review
basic cookery skills, again, in full colour. I think that the pointers given within would benefit cooks of all skills. Trust me, you won't be disapointed with the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great !, December 9, 2003
By Malcolm Gair (SINGAPORE) - See all my reviews
As a Singapore based Englishman, who is a complete Greenhorn in
the kitchen, I found the book " Cooking for eXpats " to be a
really excellent present when given to me by a close friend. It
is such a bright, easy to use book, that I now enjoy spending
time in the kitchen.
