In June of 1980, The Legendary Blues Band, including pianist Pinetop Perkins and harmonica virtuoso Jerry Portnoy, emerged out of the great Muddy Waters band of the seventies. The Legendary Blues Band plays definitive Chicago blues. Never wasting a note, the band drives and swings as hard as anyone in the blues business. On this 1981 recording they're joined by guest Duke Robillard.
