Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com
McGraw is an artist that can spin a tale with only his soulful voice against a canvas of music. He starts his fourth record by painting a vivid picture of a simple, loving country life with "Where the Green Grass Grows," which gives the listener the same desire to live in that perfect place where less is so much more. The impassioned duet "It's Your Love" with wife Faith Hill will be one of country music's most requested love songs. Even in this day of the rehashed country sound, McGraw's haunting vocals boost the music: He has the ability to bring a tear to the eye and then sweep in with lighthearted rockers such as "Hard on The Ticker. --Paula Ghergia

5.0 out of 5 stars Everywhere, March 26, 2004
If NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON and ALL I WANT established him as a country hit maker, Tim McGraw's 1997 album EVERYWHERE propelled him into superstar status. The album had a number of huge hit singles. The first single, "It's Your Love", a duet with wife Faith Hill, became a country smash and hit #1 for 6 weeks. An impressive feat. Even more impressive was when the second single "Just To See You Smile" also hit #1 for 6 weeks in a row. The title track was another #1 hit as well. The album also spun off the hits "Where The Green Grass Grows", "For A While" and "One Of These Days". It's no wonder that the album was successful, as there's so many great songs here. Some notable tracks that weren't singles include "I Do But I Don't", and "Ain't That The Way It Always Ends". Overall another great album from Tim McGraw.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Super Buy !!!, July 31, 1999
By A Customer
This CD is awesome!!!I fell in love with the album instantly. The songs are great, and Tim does a fantastic job on this album. There's a great mixture of upbeat and slow songs, and highlights include "Where The Green Grass Grows", "It's Your Love", "Everywhere", "Ain't That The Way" and "Just To See You Smile".This CD is a must-have, even for non-country music listeners.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Country Album, July 25, 1999
By A Customer
Tim McGraw is my favorite country singer- and "Where the Green Grass Grows" is the reason I got into country! If you like the Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, or Garth Brooks (at least, "Ain't Goin' Down..."), you'll really like this. :)
