4.0 out of 5 stars Know There's More to Apache, June 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Make Way for the Indian (Audio CD)
Odds are you're here because you've heard Boomshackalak on about 5 different soundtracks. Then again you just might have heard another cut from this album and liked it. Either way I just want to make sure you know that Apache Indian has a debut album which in many ways is stronger. It dosen't have the broadness of exploration that Make Way has, nor does it have the engineering mastery, but it does have a very heartfelt attempt to express what kind of artist Apache is, and what he is trying to express by bringing Reggae to the Continent. Look into 'arranged marriage' or 'chok there' on his first album "No Reservations."

Also you might try Shaggys "Pure Love" or anything by Dr. Alban.

5.0 out of 5 stars Apache Rocks, April 10, 2000
This review is from: Make Way for the Indian (Audio CD)
I watched Bio Dome for my first time, and fell in love with BoomShakALak, and am gonna bye the cd just for the song. It is also in Dumb and Dumber as well as Clueless. I love that song and really like RaggaMuffin Girl.

5.0 out of 5 stars Make Way For the Indian-great album, April 3, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Make Way for the Indian (Audio CD)
Every song has a different touch, making each tune just as enjoyable as the next. Apache Indian has done a great job. Many of his songs make his listeners aware of the many problems the world faces today. Such songs such as "Ansa Dat", "I Pray", and "Right Time" display this concept. Also, this album contains simply irresistible beats such as Raggamuffin Girl and Boomshakalak. Make Way For The Indian is a must have for all reggae and hip hop lovers. This album is even better than his previous cd "No Reservations".
