5.0 out of 5 stars In the beginning..., November 3, 1999
By A Customer
This album was prelude to the future direction of ST. Join The Army was the separation of the simple punk motive and a step into the more hardcore fusion of punk and thrash metal.... Friggin' radical!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sounds like a war going on inside my head! AWSOME!!!, February 10, 1999
By A Customer
The second ST effort jams.Plain and simple. Four years after their debut and some new faces (except Muir of course) the sound is raw and heavy thanks to new guitarist Rocky George. The songs hit home with me. I wish I could vent my frustration and hatred like Mike Muir can,but listening to him is the next best thing, because I can relate. "War Inside My Head" is my anthem.Bunches and bunches of 2-3 minute jams on this dynamo! "Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right" (great tune!) a stupid quote my elementary school principal used to say to me when I would clock someone.I just wish I would have retorted "but they make me feel a whole lot better". Way to go Mike! Keep saying it like it is!

5.0 out of 5 stars Production credits, April 28, 2006
Sorry to all you guys that love Primus so much, but the Lester Claypool that produced this album is not the same guy with the big bass. that of course doesn't change the fact that this record rocks the house- turn it up and listen to just the into for "a little each day" and see if your heart rate doesn't jump up!
