This cd helps evoke the importance of music in the fight for civil rights in the South. I would suggest this work to anyone who desires to understand the unspoken history of the South and the full push toward equality with folk's special place in history.

These are the songs..and the singers..that helped to change our world in those determining times of the civil rights movement. If you were there, this collection will take you back; if you weren't, this music will claim you too as a sister or brother. A must!
