This is the "censored version" of CC's third album (look, I even censored their name!) released in 1992. Calling it "censored" is kind of funny considering all that's different from this and the "uncensored" album is the cover art and addition of the song lyrics. Anyone that knows Cannibal Corpse's music also knows that you can't tell a single word that original vocalist/lyricist Chris Barnes growls (at least on the first three albums). For many casual fans that might be a good thing, but die-hard fans/freaks may want to know exactly what he's saying and if you fit that description then I recommend either seeking out the "uncensored" version (that has the cover art displaying two zombies having fun, I think) or looking at one of the several internet sites that proudly display the complete Corpse lyrics! The only actual words understandable are in the recording intro to track 3 which sounds like a murderer's confession (there's nothing in the credits as to who is saying this). The ironic part is that the "description" is very graphic (although no profanities are used) and it wasn't edited off the "censored" version. I saw one site describing the "censored" version as being devoid of obscenity and vulgarity, but the beginning of track 3 and all song titles are still included. Anyway, like I said the music is the same, there's no need to edit or censor words you can't understand in human language so you get the same album just a much less gross album cover (depending on your opinion) and no lyrics. Wow they couldn't even write down all the song titles on the back of this CD, but they are nice enough to show you all the titles on the inside of the booklet. I've never heard a CC album that didn't make me want to mutilate thing's(bunnies mostly). This patherson guy like rush (i hate rush) and brusce springstien, and thinks he knows anything about metal, how the hell did you get to a Corpse page anyways. The only thing bad about this album is that its clean.

Now, my other CC review heralds the cover for "The Wretched Spawn" as the best cover art, but I am pretty sure I gave a shout to this album somewhere in there. Well, let me reiterate: BEST COVER ART!!!
Now, as for the tunes. CC definitely proves they can tear it up musically. This exhausting CD emits some of the band's rawest material to date. It's so F-ing fast, you're sweating when it's done. Okay, that was lame.
Now, for the lyrics. Poetry. Pure poetry. You can browse them on google or something. I c*m blood was not half shabby. I did cry. Not for good reasons. But I did.
