This album seems to be very overlooked by many people, even Celine Dion, it seems to me. But in my opinion, she couldn't have had a better start in her English speaking carreer. "If There Was Any Other Way" although not one of her better ones, is quite a good start, and not the kind of song you ever heard from her. "If Love Is Out of the Question" is quite misheard, but an excellent song and one of my bigger favorites, "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" an excellent song, in fact, so excellent that it took all the attention away from the rest of the album. "The Last to Know", a very nice, sweet ballad that was pretty good, though can get a little bit boring (at times) and the background vocals are a little difficult to understand. "I'm Loving Every Moment With You" an excellent, soothing, romantic song that will make you feel happy to hear. "Love By Another Name" one of my very favorites from this album, and one that no one else seems to like or even mention. Though lacking a real point, this song sort of sweeps me away with it, I just love it. It gives you a really flighty feeling, especially with the background vocals that sound like extra terrestrails. Whenever I hear them, I can picture Celine singing up front with three green-headed aliens behind her singing: "It's still the same old love, Love By Another Name". "Unison", though the title song of the album, the one from the album I least like. I like all these songs, but this is definitely my least favorite. Maybe it's the background sounds that sound like a dog sweating (you know, when their tongues come out of their mouths) and a weird, tingly feeling that makes me want to switch to the next song: "I Feel Too Much". "I Feel Too Much" is my absolute favorite from this album. It is a song like no other Celine did, and another one that no one seems to recognize. This song has a very rock-like feel, yet also such a disco-dance feel that it makes you want to leap up and dance. And, unlike most songs of this type, it actually has some truth to this, because some lovers and spouses you my have through your lifetime can become all you think about and suddenly control all your feelings. If you haven't heard this song, download Napster and download this song as soon as your done reading this, this is the best song on the album! "If We Could Start Over", which should be called "If We Could Start Over AGAIN" is a wonderful, true-to-life song that is very beautiful and anyone could come to like, an excellent song. "Have a Heart" the final song in this great album, and the best one to end it with. Though quite similar to the song that comes right before it, this song is very beautiful and also true-to-life, and it ends in a way to make you yearn to hear more from Celine Dion. On a scale from 1-10, this item is a definite 9.75 for me. If you haven't heard any music from Celine and are interested in doing so, listen to this album first, and take my advice. After all, it is her first English one. It can get confusing if you jumble them up. This album is one of my absolute favorite albums of all time, and you cannot go wrong with it. Although I was only three when this album was recorded, I can remember some songs from it from the radio. How could I remember them if this album wasn't good?

S.D., which mean "superb debut" from the "super diva"...., July 6, 2006
Celine Dion's debut which catapulted her on the way to superstardom is a great debut, featuring her beautiful voice on mostly upbeat romantic songs. Five tracks on this album stand out from the others, especially the catchy title cut, Celine's first big hit "Where Does My Heart Beat Now", two Paul Bliss (of Moody Blues fame these days) songs in "(If There Was) Any Other Way" and "If Love Is Out of Question", and the sultry "The Last To Know". The rest of tracks are so-so, and I often skipped over these on my CD player. This album isn't for everyone, but Celine's most devoted fans can't help but go ga-ga over this stunning debut album.
