Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com
This Jim Carrey vehicle is backed by an impressive original soundtrack featuring Silverchair, Cypress Hill, Filter, Ruby, Cracker and a couple of Lou Reed covers by Porno for Pyros and the Pearl Jam-affiliated $10,000 Gold Chain. Alice in Chains' guitarist Jerry Cantrell checks in with "Leave Me Alone" while the star himself mugs his way through a winning version of "Somebody to Love." --Jeff Bateman

The funk song from the restaurant scene is "Pusherman" by Curtis Mayfield.

5.0 out of 5 stars With $10,000 Gold Chain, how can you go wrong??!?!?, February 27, 2001
By A Customer
This CD contains and great random mix of some of the best artists of the '90s - heck - of ALL TIME. Plus, the $10,000 Gold Chain version of VU's "Oh! Sweet Nuthin'" is beautiful, and great take on the original, filled with the masterful playing of Chris "The General" Friel, "RockTim" DiJulio and Michael McCready. Put this in your CD player, and folks will be asking you where you got this nifty compilation of songs. Once again, it's a case of the soundtrack outclassing the movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh come on...., April 1, 2001
This is great....it has Porno For Pyros, highly underrated, Jerry Cantrell, one of the best guitarists ever, a track from Cypress Hill, my second favorite rap group, and one of my favorite songs of all time "Standing Outside Of A Broken Phone Booth With Money In My Hands" by the genius but unfortunate one hit wonder Primitive Radio Gods....

find a way to obtain this....
