4.0 out of 5 stars I like you a lot in the long run, October 5, 2004
This was Wesley Willis's second (and last) album for a major record label. After having several dozen albums released on independent labels and on his own self released CDs, he signed a two record deal with American Recordings (a division of Warner Brothers). I guess they didn't sell too well, because he didn't record any other major label albums. This second album was produced by the notorious Dust Brothers. But they didn't really make any changes to Wesley's "sound". This album sounds pretty much like all his other albums. In fact, every song here sounds like it has the same backing track. But that is Wesley for ya. If you like Wesley's other albums, you should enjoy this one. One notable difference between this album and Wesley's other albums is that several songs here are about American Recordings employees. And that's all I have to say about that.

3.0 out of 5 stars Wesley Willis "Feel The Laughter", March 1, 2004
By D.B. Dickerson (BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI USA) - See all my reviews
I do own a copy of this CD and boy...I must be like everybody else who has heard the record "I CAN'T BELIEVE AMERICAN RECORDS GAVE A RETARTED GUY A RECORDING CONTRACT!" (same studio Johnny Cash recorded his last album). I am trying to get into the Entertainment industry and am tempted to go up to the the studio myself and say "Hey look you signed this guy..." well you see where I am going. This is a man who only has two verses a song: beginning and end. Every beat is the same (sounds like square dancing night) The middle of the song is the same rythem OVER AND OVER! for two frickin MINUTES! then comes the ending! It's funny (when you show it to people), but enough is enough. I however am giving it 3 stars because I have never laughed so hard in quite a while listing to it with my friend last night.
