4.0 out of 5 stars SMELL OF THE 70'S, March 7, 2002
By Duane (Nashville, TN) - See all my reviews
The sense of smell is a powerful thing. For instance, everytime I hear Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds "Don't Pull Your Love{out}I smell my first grade class room and can see a sunny play ground outside of its window. This particular cut is reason enough to purchase this CD. Takes on The Four Tops "Ain't No Woman" and a medley of Simon & Garfunkle's / James Taylor "Bridge Over Trouble Water" / "You've Got A Friend" is again well worth the listen! Another cut, "Annabella" should have been at least a top twenty record for the group. Commercially, this CD is NOT a GREATEST HITS for the average fan, but if you are a fan of this groups top 40 hits, after listening to this CD you will wonder why these guys were not a more successful household name. What's extremely unfortunate is the fact that the album titled FALLIN IN LOVE { which includes the titles hit record and the minor WINNERS & LOSERS } has not been released in a CD format. That lp. includes a song titled "BAR ROOM BLUES" which could be a number one pop or country record today. That album also included a large rose on its inner record jacket cover that gave off a scented aeroma of spring. The Greatest Hits, however is a good start...You too may also smell first grade, so Go ahead and sing along.

2.0 out of 5 stars Two of my favorite seventies songs aren't here, June 14, 2001
By Walter Laboy "quenchstar" (Ponce, Puerto Rico Puerto Rico) - See all my reviews
It was really disappointing that this Hamilton,Joe Frank & Reynolds Greatest Hits Collection didn't include two of my favorite songs from the seventies. How could they call it Greatest Hits when a number one song called Fallin in Love and a top twenty song called Winners and Losers weren't considered for this album?Great lyrics, sweet songs, harmonious voices.Thats what they were,an unforgettable group of the seventies.Missing these songs was an unfortunate mistake.

1.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Hits?????, March 17, 2001
By "lonewolf12957" (Wataga, Illinois United States) - See all my reviews
How can they call this a greatest hits album when they didn't include "Winners and Losers" and "Falling in Love." Two of their biggest hits. The album "Falling in Love" has more of their hits on it then this peice of junk. To bad Amazon doesn't carry it.
