5.0 out of 5 stars Tube Theme Memories, September 2, 2008
By Silky Greensleeves (Northeast,Ohio USA) - See all my reviews
This is A fun trip down memory lane, featuring many full length theme songs of televisions great era of the 70s/80s.I mainly bought it to get the full length version of John Sebastian's"Welcome Back",from "Welcome Back Kotter",and"Everytime I Turn Around"from "Punky Brewster"(neither of which were included on TeeVee Records'" Television Greatest Hits").It also features rarities like David Naughton's "Makin'It",and The original version of"Thank You For Being A Friend"by Andrew Gold(which would later become"The Golden Girls"theme). The neat thing about this CD,is that many songs are in there full length 45 RPM Versions. For Any 70s/80s Tv fans,I highly recommend this album.

4.0 out of 5 stars Come and knock on our door, January 15, 2004
This is a really fun CD, especially if you grew up watching these shows. Although admittedly a few of these shows are pretty obscure. Does anybody remember "Davis Cassidy - Man Undercover"? Anyway, this CD is a lot of fun for a pop culture junkie like me. Most of the songs here are the record versions of the shows theme songs, which are longer than the TV versions and are in stereo. The only ones which are the actual mono TV versions are "Three's Company", "Hard Time (Hard Crimes)", "B.J. and the Bear" and "Everytime I Turn Around". That last one is the theme from (ugh) Punky Brewster.
