I was looking to replace my vinyl Rafael Kubelik and the Chicago Symphony version. The remastered ones were good but I still went back to my old scratched vinyl. This has finally convinced me to change. A live and beautiful performance; the recording quality is magnificent, from the first harp strings to the last trumpets; the musical rendering is superb, the whole symphonic poem hangs together as Smetana intended it to do. I have not heard the record with Pesek and the Royal Philharmonic but this is surely the best of the others available
