About the Artist

Dariush Saghafi is a master of Persian Santur. He Studied the Santur under Ostad Abol-Hassan Saba and Ostad Faramarz Payvar. For the past forty years he has been studying, researching, teaching and performing Persian music. Saghafi has performed in concerts in Iran and in the United states at New York University, Carnegie Recital Hall in New York, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
