About the Artist

A lifetime of musical study is reflected in Sallys playing. The piano came naturally as she amazed her family, playing songs by ear at age three. At age four, her classical training began. She also improvised, composed, and played everything she heard and liked. At twenty three, she earned a Master of Music degree in piano performance, having studied with world renowned teacher and concert pianist, Stewart Gordon.

Ms. Harmon plays concerts in the United States, Canada and abroad, as her music is sold throughout the world. She has been seen on numerous television appearances, including a David Frost special in Los Angeles where she performed her original piece, Sunset Over LA. It was was aired worldwide during the Los Angeles Olympics. Her music has prompted complimentary letters from two U.S. presidents and she has performed for the King and Queen of Sweden. She recently premiered a new Stienway concert grand piano in Washington DC at DAR Constitution Hall next to the White House for a crowd of 4,000.

Our family enjoys listening to Sally Harmon so much and this particular CD is one of our favorites. Our 17 year old son uses her music as a model for his own style of piano playing. The CD "In The Garden" is the music we prefer for Sunday afternoons at home with our family.

I thought I was getting piano solo music and was disappointed there were so many other instruments. I felt it was elementary music rather than the flowy musical music I have heard her play before.

I have almost all of Sally's cd's and have seen her many times. She is a wonderful, talented pianist and with her husband Frank on the bass, this is music not to be missed.
