Out of all the cuts on this particular Prince remix EP, I think that "GETT OFF(Houstyle)" is one of the most smoothest, slickest and danceable remix mixes I've heard. It was remixed by Steve "Silk" Hurley, infamous Chicago dance music remixer and producer. Hurley produced and co-wrote CeCe Peniston's hit, "Keep On Walkin'" on her "FINALLY" LP. "Everybody, grab a body! Pump it like U want somebody!", Prince and his entourage shouts under an ABBA-esque drumbeat reminescent of "Dancing Queen" sped up with tambourines and bongos. Then, it stops with a funky drum fill. Anthemic synth clarinet horns sound off then the ABBA-esque drum groove comes back in with a smooth bass line and an hypnotic jazz organ vamp on top of it. Then, Prince's signature flute melody comes out on top of all of this. This mix is killer!!! I liked the remix so much. I even bought the Prince and the NPG, "GETT OFF (THE MAXI-VIDEO) The video representations of "GETT OFF" audio remixes and includes the original video and mix. GETT OFF (Houstyle)is funky!!! Get this EP!!! Better yet, See if you can get the maxi-video! The Houstyle video can be summed in two words: FUNN-KEY! Funky!!!

even though there are alot of Mixes here Prince gets alot of them.the Lyrics&Grooves take on a Mind of there Own.The Mixes Made the Song Grow on Me more.this is The Old Risky Prince.check out this Remix Classic.

Each version has the same back beat, but the lyrics and styles are different. This makes the whole thing great 2 listen 2. It is not like those single with 5 different versions of the same song, this one rocks! I have the US version, so I am assuming that the import version is the same.
