The sub title of this is "The Best Of..." and it is rare that a "best of: is truely such. This is one of the exceptions. JW was a great blues and jazz vocalist and this disc captures many of his finest moments. He is supported by a who's who of musicians including: T-Bone Walker, Kenny Burrell, Coleman Hawkins, Gerry Mulligan, Ben Webster, Jimmy Smith, Hampton Hawes, and many other legends. This is an excellent disc.
