I love this CD though, don't get me wrong. It seems as of late Sting likes to write his best songs on his CD singles, like the CD single "You Still Touch Me". That song is weak but the rest of the CD is superb. Why does he do this, Mercery Falling was filled with mediocre songs at best but his CD singles songs are great. Take the song "Giacomo's Blues", a 4 minute instrumental of pure bliss that would make Miles Davis jealous. I don't like where Sting is going with his music but buy this CD single right now. I'm not kidding. What are you waiting for. R.I.PKenny KirklandI'll miss you

"I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying" was a minor hit for Sting that later became a duet with country star Toby Keith. It holds up fairly well which is more than one can say about the music video where Sting sports an absurd haircut and an alien wearing a cowboy hat line dances. The joy of the CD single comes not from the title track but three other Sting songs which were not released on any albums. "This was Never Meant to Be" is a gloomy but ironic song that really seems to be a throwback to the sweeping songs of the 1940s. "Giacomo's Blues" is a wonderful instrumental and fans of Sting's "Dream of the Blue Turtles" phase will enjoy it. "Beneath a Desert Moon" is a hidden gem of a song as Sting takes on ancient Egyptian politics, religion and society with a catchy chorus, interesting rhymes and strange if somewhat haunting background vocals that seem to be trying to capture the flow of the Nile. While probably too esoteric even by Sting's standards to have been included on a major album, it really ranks as one of his most unappreciated songs. Fans of Sting looking to drill a little deeper into his music should check out this CD single.

I just wanted to reply to the first review...Sting did a duet with Toby Keith of this song and they each recorded a seperate single for it as well. I love this song, its a got a great feel to it and it also tugs at the heart strings a bit
