Carlton (Ada, MI United States) - See all my reviews       This is one of the best CD releases in the entire Stones collection. The tracks were recorded during club dates and they are definitely some of the best recordings of the band ever. It is worth buying just for the incredible Lisa Fischer vocals on Gimmie Shelter. Although you can hear this on the Maxx DVD, this is the only CD recording where Lisa really hits it. Mick and Charlie are outstanding on this recording of Gimmie Shelter as well. I can't believe these songs didn't make the "Stripped" album. This is an essential Stones cd!!! Also, the cd single "Like A Rolling Stone" is a must-have-Stones-purchase! It has two unreleased live versions of "Black Limousine" and "All Down The Line" from the Stripped sesions. Buy both cds!!!  Comment | Permalink | Was this review helpful to you?
