5.0 out of 5 stars sadus are the absolute perfection, September 4, 2000
By giuseppe (milano, italy) - See all my reviews
ok, if you really hate everything and everybody you gotto know SADUS: nothing in their albums is out of place, they're incisive, infallible, straight as an arrow, the real perfection in speed-metal-death-trash ; I just read another review that compares sadus to exodus, slayer, metallica & testament.. that guy is OUT OF HEAD!!! you gotta mix the drums from boltthrower ,the voice from anacrusis, the speed from razor, the bass from forbidden and still get less than 50% of sadus ! (and guitars? there's nothing comparable!)

this album is a compilation with tracks taken from their first 3 albums:

-1. Certain Death -2. Undead -3. Sadus Attack -4. Torture -5. Hands Of Fate -6. Illusions --- these come from the 1st album, "illusions", less then 30 minutes but it gave yet the idea of what they were; I rate it 98%

-7. Man Infestation -8. Good Rid'nz -9. Powers Of Hate -10. Arise -11. Oracle Of Obmission --- these come from "swallowed in black", the 2nd album ; I'cant say nothing on this: it rates 100%, it's the pure sadus style (as I know)

-12. Through The Eyes Of Greed -13. Valley Of Dry Bones -14. Slave To Misery -15. Facelift -16. Deceptive Perceptions -17. Echoes Of Forever --- these are from the 3rd album, "eyes of greed", more technical than the previous 2, a bit less fast but heavier and more epic, bass & drums /evermore precise/!

a last thing: lyrics: they're against technology (the man infestation infected world span) ,

against pollution (so now our world is fading into slowly burning out) , about nature , violence (vindication, justification is done) , HATE, false visions of reality( LIVE TO OBEY AS THEY TUNE IN THE ORACLE EACH DAY) , DEATH (Mangled body - flattened corpse - stench of rot - hammered carnage - crusted thing - maggots breed )

on my site you'll find all the lyrics from "swallowed in black" (if not, mail me at: boltthrower@libero.it and I'll send you back), my ratings (more than 600 albums) and some criticism (when I'll have time..)

strive to win and live to please your mind !!

5.0 out of 5 stars The newest sound in thrash is here. SADUS kills., June 23, 1998
By A Customer
If you want a taste of a killer new sound that you'll be sure to love, get this CD. Sadus' sound is like no other. Yet, you will wish there were more bands like them after you hear their sound. They are waaaay heavy, fast, melodic, screaming guitars, killer drums and thundering bass lines that no one can come close to. GET IT and see for yourself. SADUS KILLS.
