For those who don't know, Misanthrope is a French avant-garde death metal band, with lots of piano and innovative arrangements along with blistering guitar and dry, harsh vocals. "1666...Theatre Bizarre" might appeal to those who are interested in collectibles, but I would argue that it is no match for their subsequent album, "Visionnaire," which unfortunately amazon.com does not sell, but blackmetal.com does.
