About the Artist
Martin, the youngest son of the late Gabby "Pops" Pahinui, inherited his golden, yet savory voice from his father. His entire life has been filled with music, and surprising, but true, is the fact that what you are about to hear is Martin's first solo musical adventure.
Martin recorded with the Peter Moon Band for many years, and his lead vocals on the giant hits "Flying" and "Cane Fire" makes his voice recognizable to everyone in Hawai'i. He then joined his brothers Bla and Cyril, legacies in their own right, to record the album "The Pahinui Brothers" in 1992.
