I couldn't believe that the original Golden Horseshoe Revue and Miracles From Molecules were on here. They sound great in Ragtime. Even the songs I've heard a million times like Zipadee doo dah and When You Wish Upon a Star sounded great in Ragtime.

I also like the booklet with it with notes by some of the Disney composers. I learned a lot.

I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!

The upbeat, gentle, main-street American genre of ragtime works perfectly with the upbeat, gentle, main-street American theme of the Disney parks. He doesn't need to sacrifice either to the other, even in such unlikely ragtime tunes as Maroon Cartoon, Golden Dreams, or the Hawaiian War Chant.

You could believe that you're listening to him as you walk down Main Street, and maybe you have.

Then when I thought it couldn't get any better, I came to the final cut -- an interview of Walt, including a short clip of him doing Mickey's voice. What fun!

My, oh my, what a wonderful day.

Any lover of ragtime will be pleased by Chris Calabrese's masterful interpretations in this CD. He is a fantastic piano player. If you like Disney, you will thrill at these ragtime versions.

I have just listened to that CD. I am disappointed. Unfortunately the piano is electronic and it seems played by computer or MIDI sequencer.
