If you've heard Brenda Stubbert in person, you'll want this CD. It captures the variety, strength and energy in Stubbert's fine fiddle playing. She plays medleys of traditional Cape Breton tunes, along with her own tunes written in the Cape Breton style. My favorites include Stubbert's Goose Cove (march), Barbara Magone's Visit (strathspey), Stephanie Wills (reel), and The Cameron Walker (reel).
