Entertainment Weekly
[I Belong to You] is a beautiful downer about the futility of love and relationships.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is bound to become one of my most-listened to cds., May 27, 1999
By A Customer
I just bought this CD because I liked the cover (I do that a lot). Big time winner here! "Who Am I Tonight" perfectly captures the only bad months of my ten-year marriage. Otherwise though, it's not a down or sad collection of songs at all. If you've been missing real music with real lyrics, look no further.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, beautifully written commentary on love/relationships, November 12, 1998
By A Customer
I Belong to You, a new CD by John Jennings, offers an intelligent commentary on love and relationships. The lyrics are poignant and clever. Premium contributions by other musicians add to this CD's richness. Jennings is not only an excellent songwriter but also an accomplished performer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sad and Beautiful, May 21, 1999
By A Customer
This is an excellent cd. It combines beautiful lyrics with superb harmony and a beautiful melody (you gotta love that acoustic guitar!) These songs I do not mind getting stuck in my head. I belong to you is my favorite -- I love it so much i could listen to it nonstop!
