Rugrats is one of the hippest kids' shows around. With music by former Devo leader Mark Mothersbaugh, psychedelic Klasky-Csupo animation, and episodes like "Tricycle Thief" and "The Baby Vanishes," how could it be otherwise? And these tunes (mainly by Mothersbaugh) bridge demographics as nimbly as the show itself does. Rugrats fans of all ages will love Elvis Costello's "Throw My Toys Around" (performed by No Doubt), Angelica's screechy rendition of Blondie's "One Way or Another," Devo's goofy take on the Chipmunks' "Witch Doctor," the Subgenius-inspired "A Baby Is a Gift of Bob," the we-are-the-alternaworld star power of "This World Is Something New to Me," and kid-friendly raps from Rakim and Busta Rhymes. I think that this is a really great C.D. There are some songs that I feel were a little less than par, yet others made up for it. Songs like "A Baby is a Gift From A Bob", "Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of Yum", "The World is New". These are such cute a lovable songs that any Rugrats fan should own his just for that. If you don't think so, well I'm sorry!

This CD, is absolutely wonderful. It has wonderful music that both children and adults can fully appreciate. I definitely recommend this CD, to others looking for some sweet and fun tunes.

This is a great album for any Rugrats fan. We played a couple songs on here on the children's radio show I used to produce. My favortie songs are:

"Take Me There"

"Dil-a-bye"

"Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of Rum"

"Take Me There" is just a fun song that even gained some airplay on commercial stations when THE RUGRATS MOVIE came out. "Dil-a-bye" is a delightful lullaby and "Yo Ho Ho" is a great song to sing along with.
