5.0 out of 5 stars Double Bass at it's finest, June 20, 2000
By Thomas Pachner (West Allis, WI) - See all my reviews
For anyone starved for Modern Classical or Double Bass Concertos, this CD should not be missed. The performance of Gary Karr (and the other soloists on the CD) are near perfect. The pieces are modern, but listenable. There are NOT like the normal modern classical pieces that are meant to "shock" you.
