Editorial Reviews

Delta Democrat Times, February 26, 1998
Mirror in the Spirit Hotel, the just-released recording by Greenville's Richard Haxton, is a bravura performance. Earthy and wildly pulsating with catchy innovative rhythm combinations...

The Album Network, March 6, 1998
Every now and again we need a protest album, and Richard Haxton has given us one that's a doozy - he's basically pissed, and more than willing to point out the hypocrisy and shallow nature of our society as we wind down this century/millennium.

5.0 out of 5 stars That Incredible Sound..., June 16, 1999
By A Customer
I totally enjoyed this album. As you kick back and enjoy the sometimes complex (but relaxing) rhythms, you can't help but think about the deeper meaning of the songs. Listen (really listen) to the entire CD just once and you're hooked.
