5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful collection of Chico's songs in spanish., November 15, 1999
By Alejandro Lopez (Sonora, México) - See all my reviews
This is a very rare and beatiuful CD with the best of Chico Buarque songs, but in spanish. This is a must have for those who enjoys the fine poetry and intelligent lyrics. Comes from that slow brazilian tunes to that well known classic rhythms and into the that brazlian's rhythmics songs. "Geni y el Zepelin" is an incredible well done metaphore, as the tune is. "La Construcción" and "Que Será" are two classics of Latinamerican music, the fisrt one has an outstanding use of the language and you have hear the arregments, the second one is with Milton Nascimento on the vocals. "Querido Amigo" very ingenious and nice letter-song to a friend :) "A Pesar de Usted" one of the protest classics on 70's 80's brazil. This CD is one of my favorites of all times on spanish music and a excelent starting point if you haven't heard Chico Buarque music and fine poetry before, you should try this. For collectors and good music lovers :)

5.0 out of 5 stars excelente, May 30, 2001
By pablo rossi (BUENOS AIRES, BUENOS AIRES Argentina) - See all my reviews

5.0 out of 5 stars Excelente! Uma muito boa aquisição., March 26, 2005

(REAL NAME)
