Product Description
The band Most Wanted has recently completed their self-titled debut CD, now available on the new MEGAWAVE label. Most Wanted, a long-time Detroit area band, started working on this project in February of 1998. Founding member singer songwriter Mark Hiser teamed up in the fall of 1997 with members Ray Bailey, Greg Kerkes, andDave McReynolds to remold Most Wanted into a dual guitar modern rock band. Rehearsals on new original songs written by Hiser started in an Ann Arbor warehouse.=20 When the group included many of the new songs in their sets at various clubs, the crowds showed a genuine liking of all the material. With this support, the group decided to record their ten-song disc at The Loft in Saline, Michigan, with recording engineer Andy Patalan.
The group combines strong vocals with alluring melodies and driving rhythms to create a solid collection of modern rock songs. Along with a variety of love loss story lines and heart pounding grooves, Most Wanted provides some very crafty guitar work throughout the forty-two minute production. Crowd favorites are strong rockers Can I See You and In the Middle of the Night, ballads She, Bringing Home the Rain, and World When I Was King. The CD also includes a fifties tribute song called My Girlfriend which contains a classic ironic twist.
