There are a couple of cuts on this wonderful CD that will make the price of purchse worth it!! Especially given that there are some USED!!!! The music is eclectic, but very tuneful--not at all weird or disonant. The excellent two cuts I am refering to are: "Kelly's Dream in the Rain" which is an ambient-type soundscape with a haunting melody heightened by a conversation in the rain and the dark; and "Always Coming Home" which is a romantic acoustic guitar and vocal call to returning where the heart is. I play both these pieces, and others from this CD, on a radio program in Alaska. "Always Coming Home" is a particular favorite of listeners in Alaska, especially as we leave the hectic times of summer, returning to our houses and cabins for the winter lights.

In a musical world full of quick copy-catting and cookie cutter white noise, this stunningly original work is a breath of sweet fire. Kingfisher is that one in a million artist whose musical signature and style is completely unique. The poetry, which seems to travel as in a dream, is finally brought around into a fully realized vision. Absolutely mesmerizing...
